Once you reach the top of the wall, you are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Karanga Valley and the vast plains below.

The trail then follows an undulating path across the alpine desert, leading you to the Karanga Camp, where many trekkers choose to stop for lunch or a short rest. After Karanga, you continue towards Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit push.

The terrain becomes more rocky and exposed as you near Barafu Camp. The wind can be strong here, so prepare for colder conditions. Upon arrival at Barafu, you'll have an early dinner and rest to prepare for the midnight departure to the summit.
