Preparation

Physical Fitness: Although slightly shorter than Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru requires good fitness levels. Regular cardio exercises and hiking practice will help prepare you for the demanding ascents.

Weather: Be ready for variable temperatures and rain, especially in the lower regions. Pack accordingly with layers, waterproof gear, and sturdy boots.

Altitude: As with any high-altitude trek, altitude sickness can affect some climbers. Take it slow, stay hydrated, and listen to your guides.
