Verified WOW! Outstanding! My husband & i have recently retuned from a trip of a life time! Benjemin was exceptional. Extremely knowledgable & informative! We learnt so much . Always very friendly , smiley & professional. He made sure we saw & experienced all that one expects from a safari experience. The whole safari was faultless & truly magical. Once in a life time experience. I have to stress that Benjemin was an extremely diligent &careful driver which was very reassuring for us considering how bumpy the roads were & having seen a lot of jeeps broken down. Our jeep was super clean & comfortable & Benjemin always made sure we had everything we needed. All in all i would not hesitate to book again with Benjemin. Spending a full week with him, we were afraid it would be awkward, but he is so nice and so much fun. He told us many intersting facts about animals and Tanzania, taught us the Jambo Song, he is very experienced in game drive, knows the roads within the parks as the palm of his hand and has such a natural talent for spotting animals. We are really happy with our great and very kind guide and driver Patience who did everything so we would feel comfortable and happy. He drove very good and safe and told us a lot about the animals. The safari lodges were very good and we had really good food all these days. We had warm food for lunch and not just a lunch package. One of us is allergic to gluten and the company really took this seriously and delivered good food that felt safe to eat. The owner of the company always replied very quick on what’s app both before and during the safari and really cared about that we would have the best experience. I would really recommend this company to anyone wishing to go on safari in Tanzania. Asante sana!Verified A fabulous tour which has us itching to return. We researched a number of tour operators when booking our private safari tour + holiday to Zanzibar. And got several quotes. We had never heard of Loren, but their pricing was attractive and they are clearly listed on the Tanzanian government's website of licensed tour operators.We paid a deposit by transfer using a website called PesaPal, with the remainder given in cash (USD) on arrival. From then on our accommodation, all transfers and internal flight was covered. Our guide stayed with us for the length of the tour and was a huge help in getting us where we needed to go, identifying species and keeping us very well fed.Following an unforgettable safari, we spent a few days in Zanzibar in lovely surroundings and accommodation.I'd recommend this company to anyone considering a Tanzanian holiday; your money will stay in Tanzania and not be sent off to some international tour operator, and the team will make sure that you are very well looked after. We already want to book a return holiday in future, and will be looking at Loren again when we do.Verified Unforgettable memories We did a one day safari trip with Loren from Zanzibar and it was nothing short of amazing. Loren made this a smooth trip. Throughout the entire process, Loren was respectful. Our driver Samson was very outgoing, funny and knowledgeable. Samson made this trip feel like 10 minutes. He had a good sense of what we really wanted and organised everything for us. At the beginning we were a bit hesitant because there weren't that many reviews yet. But he was able to defuse this wonderfully by finding a reference with whom we could find out about his trip with Loren African Safari. He is a careful driver and doesn't speed. He has very keen eyes on safari and knows the flora and fauna inside out. He was always very quick to respond to questions or requests before and during the trip. And also important for us: many companies look as if they come from Tanzania, but in the end they belong to foreigners. Loren African Safari is 100% Tanzanian!
